Rob Somers appraised our home so far below market value (in December) the Central Appraisal District actually stated the appraisal was incorrectly done and unacceptable. He valued the home 20% less than the CAD appraiser which were both completed within a month of each other. He even used a comp that was 11 months outdated. This appraiser does a fast run through and takes no interest in assessing your home value fairly. He’s plug and play, working off template forms. He also has no clue about certain inner-city market areas - I would ask how much experience he has doing appraisals in your zip code if you even consider working with him. No surprise he has a 1 Star reputation.

Would have given a negative star if possible. Extremely unprofessional and reported wrong information. Neglected the major upgrades in the house that will significantly affect the appraised value.

Very unprofessional! Showed up a day early and told us if we didn’t get it appraised that day, he wouldn’t be able to come back for another week! Our house wasn’t even fully prepared! We will be reporting to the BBB.
