Great diagnostician with very personable manner.
I have been bringing my son to Dr. Ranka for about 4-5 years for his Lazy Eye. He started with patching his eye, then glasses, and now to no glasses. Dr. Ranka always explained everything thoroughly and clearly; excellent interaction with my son, he always felt so confortable talking to him.
Very fluent visit, welcoming staff and Doctor had patience with my kid and was very friendly, I would recommend to others

We just graduated out of Dr. Furlan. He has been such a fabulous doctor, helping my son and his internal 'lazy eye'. I would highly recommend Dr. Furlan to anyone. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is extremely comforting and a top notch doc!
Like most surgeons, he doesn’t care about his patients. Misspelled my child’s name and disregarded her MRI report before surgery. Then HE cancelled surgery few weeks before her date because I was upset with his lack of communication and ability to act like a caring doctor for my toddler. Meanwhile, he’s well aware it will take us months to find a new doctor and schedule surgery. He told me the sooner we get this done, the better the outcome is. Thanks for not caring at all for my child. I’d never recommend you to anyone.

I've had Dr. Ranka for over 10 years and every single time I've had a appointment with him he has been nothing but excellent and professional. When my son had his surgery when he was 5, Dr. Ranka was the only doctor to actually help him improve his vision. He is very clear and pays very good attention to his patients.
