EXCELLENT service today on my first visit to your store! PLEASE forgive me as I have forgotten the names of the two working in the shop when I was there, but they went right to work and trued/straightened my bike's back wheel by adjusting the spoke tension, which btw, I had NO idea could be done until I spoke with them on the phone. Mike is a genuine owner who seems to have a passion for outdoor adventures and sets out to share that same passion with his customers. I took a kayaking classing under Mike's instruction and he was very patient and thorough in is teaching of the class. He has tons of experience and really stresses the importance of safery. Mike's Hike and Bike in Richmond and London are both very active and many opportunities for the local outdoor sports enthusiasts...the shops offer great classes.
Mike is a great instructor and a very nice person to get along with. Don't let the store's name fool you. They don't just do hiking and biking they also do kayaking. I took the lesson on June 7, 2014 we went to the beach and learned how to kayak. His instruction, I consider the best because i felt safe the entire time.
