I live in West Central Florida now, about an hour NW of Tampa in Bayonet point on the Gulf. I have a Sugartip deciduous Rose of Sharon from Mike about 14 yrs old. I have it potted, and dwarfed. It has adapted to a semi-dormancy period in our generally frost-free winters. It produces abundant pale shell pink flowers mid and late summer every year.
