A gentleman and a scholar. When the warranty on my truck expired and I decided to start using and independent mechanic instead of my local dealer, I did a lot of research with friends, neighbors and the Better Business Bureau. Mike and his shop got high marks from everyone I spoke with. After taking my truck in for service, I see why. He and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are very detail oriented. I will never take my vehicle to anyone else as long as I live here.
Outstanding Service Mike and his crew are fantastic. I know about cars and usually know the issue prior to taking it to them. They have always been honest with me and the craftsmanship and work rate a 10. They take the time to explain the issue and the solutions and have educated my daughters about the cars they are driving. I feel that they can and will provide superior customer service on all the vehicles I am trying to maintain.
RecommendedI take my cars to Ray and the guys at Mike the mechanic on Barrett Parkway. They are great guys who work hard and get the jobs done. Fairly priced and give a warranty on the parts and services they provide. The employees will talk you through what you vehicle service needs are and work with you based on budgeted financials. Not pushy to sell lots of extras but more informative and let the customers decide. Thanks Mike the Mechanic for your hard work and skills.

Recently my wife had an emergency with her car and they didn’t disappoint. They had her back on the road in no time. Excellent service, work and always at the best price! Mike The Mechanic has several locations in the Cobb area and they were incredible. Soldering new electronics on a 35 year old car from a country that no longer exists (West Germany) is no simple task and they did it! No fuss, no hassles, no surprises. I now have cold blowing air in this Georgia heat. The team at Towne Lake was so friendly and kept me updated the entire time. I’ve recommended them to all of my friends.
tried to charge for warranty work on a repair he had JUST DONE. have heard from several people since, including former employees that hes a rip off artist.
They tried to charge us for work associated with the new transmission he just installed 2 weeks ago. We spent $3800+ on that transmission and it has a 3 year warranty, and it gave us problems less than 2 weeks after they replaced it. STAY AWAY from this place.
My two sisters and I came out here to close up my dad's estate. We were on a very tight schedule and we all live somewhere on the west coast. My dad had a F150 that needed quite a bit of work before we could drive it back. They were busy with so many customers and they still were able to get all the work done, kept us up to date on where they were, did it at a great price, and were extremely friendly on the phone. If I didn't live in Alaska I would use this shop as my regular mechanic.
