We had Mike the Carpet Guy install carpet in the basement and flooring in the upstairs bathroom. The work itself turned out great—everything looks sharp, and the turnaround was fast. Mike offers quality products at a fair price, which we appreciated. That said, the cleanup could’ve been better. Satisfied with the carpet quality but beyond poor installation. Please look at other options before you get the installation from them. Visible seam in middle of the rooms. Poorly cut carpet near doors and edges. After I complaint they sent an installer to look and he told me that whoever installed it did a bad job. He stretched the carpet at few places and told me that's all he can do, hope after sometime it blends in. 4 months and still looks awful.
My carpet is beautiful but the installation is beyond poor. There is a seam right down the middle of the living room and they turned the carpet the wrong way in the bedroom. When my son talked to them, they said they would replace the bedroom at our cost. Are you kidding me? Would never recommend them because of the installer.
He came and took measurements of both our family room and living room. He put everything in his I pad , including pricing. Told us he would send all the info. Day before scheduled installation we still hadn’t received any info. Carpet was installed, prominent seam showing, edging terrible and some corners were not tacked down properly. Installer came and fixed some of the issues but couldn’t fix the seam showing in the middle of the room. He said he would report it.
