The steak was excellent and the service was friendly, with my water glass always kept full. However my friend's salmon entree came out genuinely cold, I received no knife with my steak, and in general the quality of the service was no better than average. For the price, that is disappointing.
Terrible – Went here on a Tuesday night and were seated right away at 7:30. It all went down hill from there. The service was slow and our waitress was rude. The menu is unbelievably overpriced and our steaks were average at best.

Terrible Service – I have to give 5 stars to the kitchen. Everything hit the table as ordered and well executed. Meats cooked to order, etc. The food was very good. However, at the prices a downtown steakhouse commands, there should at least be decent service. Sadly, our server was at best distracted, at worst just hated his job. Didn't inform us of the nights specials. No bread service. Dropped main course and said "do you need anything else" when bussers had cleared all silver from the table. Especially when the weather is warm, the open patio is fantastic, especially before a Cardinals game. Food is a must if you're hungry, but if you're just looking for an adult beverage, also a great St. Louis tradition to drop by this place!
Restaurant - steaks One of the best places in St. Louis to get a good steak. Pleasant atmosphere for either dinner or a business lunch. We went here after a Card's game and it was fun with all the other fans. Highly recommend.
AWESOME! Owned by former St Louis Cardinal player Mike Shannon this place is out of this world. Wonderful food and the bar has excellent choices of beer and other beverages. It's close to the stadium, so you could walk. It isn't cheap, but well worth it!
Another Great St Louis Steakhouse This is my 1st time back since they moved. It's within easy walking distance from the Busch Stadium. The food is superb, and expensive. It's well worth it though. Be sure to check out the apetizers, especially the crabcakes. The atmosphere is friendly, but not too high brow to have a good time. Expect excellent service throughout the restaurant. Be sure to visit the bar. They have a fantastic collection of domestic beer, and one of the best of imports and micro's.
