Mike Riley's Landscaping ripped me off big time! This scam bag ask for payment upfront. He is a scammer. Beware. His work is pathetic. He doesn't have certified employees , but he hires criminals to do his work. He can not do a job right at all. Used Mike Riley's landscaping and it was the worst ever! First, he doesn't come on time and he tells you he'll be there, but expect him to come late into the evening, and when it gets dark. Why? So you don't see how messy his work is and you pay an unbelievable price because he never gives you a receipt. He lies to you to tell you how much he paid and then when you call the nursery and find out it's at least $200 more than he's charging you. After losing several thousand dollars with Mike (I originally paid over $7000), I spent $1500 at Covington's, and now I have the "bones" (like some Holly shrubs) for my front bed (Mike had planted mostly low-cost perennials). Also, most of the landscape lights he "upgraded" are not working. Covington's told me they weren't upgraded to LED as I was promised. We hired Mike Riley to perform several landscaping projects. I will detail the large items here just to be concise as I do not want others to make the mistake I made. 1. Artificial turf - The artificial turf is poorly done. You can clearly see wrinkles within the turf as there is nothing holding it down. There are landscaping stables placed haphazardly.
