Upon finding that my non car owner policy had been raised $60, I called my rep to see why. After 40+ years of being a car owner policy and then a non car own policy owner, I called the Brock Barrett office to ask for an explanation. Last year, the woman who answered helped me lower my premium. This year the young sounding man who answered the phone merely said, "because it was raised" I noted that that was not an answer to my question. He replied that it was the answer. So much for respect and customer service.
State Farm does not practice in fair claims. I was hit by one of there insureds when he came into my lane and hit my vehicle. I have photos confirming this as well as that his lane was blocked by construction equipment. This equipment started being lined up as I entered this road from the highway and the other driver was in a hurry due to being in the wrong place. My car was stolen from the front of my home and State Farm is making me feel like the criminal. Passed my case to an investigator who is not responsive and when we finally reach her she says they have to follow protocol. Well if your protocol is making your customers feel like a criminal you sure are making us feel that way. Worst company ever!!
I am currently undergoing an auto claim thru state farm where my vehicle was involved in hail damage and flooding on July 21st, 3.40pm, and I am still waiting for state farm to approve my claims for the damaged bumpers and shocks that were effected due to this major hail and flooding event that I experienced. We acquired State Farm 5 years ago and thought we were getting one of the best insurance companies. As it turns out we weret, we had hail damage in 2015 and submitted a claim, State Farm adjuster came out and said the roof wasn't damaged so refused to cover any of it except a square and that was after a restoration company came out and did an estimate. My daughter was driving my car, stopped in stop-and-go traffic on a busy freeway, when a distracted driver (insured by State Farm) slammed into the back of my vehicle at a high rate of speed. The collision traumatized all passengers and badly damaged the rear of the car, while clearly compromising the structural integrity of the bumper and the supporting pieces that hold it in place. State Farm does NOT care that I have 1 and 2 year old children. Have not been able to let my children outside because THEIR customer put a whole in my fence and i have both a SEXUAL PREDATOR and a RESTRAINING order against a neighbor living on my street. They expect my husband and i to fix our own fence with non matching materials because they wont pay for a company to fix our fence. ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE. STAY AWAY FROM STATE FARM!!! THEY WILL TREAT YOU AS IF YOU ARE BENEATH THEM AND WILL MOCK YOU AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE WORTHLESS. I had been a State Farm customer for decades, so when I needed to renew the insurance on a rental property, I called our local agent, who wrote 3 policies for the 3 different addresses. The policies took effect on June 8th, so I thought I was covered for the next year.
