I love this gym! The staff are friendly and helpful, the equipment well maintained, and the building is constantly being cleaned. My child went to the childcare and had a great time. A nice mix of clientele no matter what time of day I go. The pool, sauna and spa are beautiful. Reasonably priced, but worth every penny!
Until today, I was an active member of Mike Artega's in Highland. I had been a member for more than 10 years. Friday I brought my daughter with me. She was so excited that the kids club reopened. They told me they had to add my kids to my account in order for them to go to the kids club. That meant "upgrading" my membership. Basically, I was going to have to double what I was already paying just to have my kids names on the account. That doesn't even include what I'd have to pay to drop them off at the kids club. I initially joined Mike Arteagas in 1981.....I was there for a number of years and then switched to the IBM country club since I worked at IBM and it was easier... I really missed Mike's because they are always updating the club and the equipment ,and I've never looked back..I've been a re member for 20 years and hope to continue for ever....I look forward to going there...
Great staff, plenty of space, this place even has a movie theater in it lined with treadmills!!
I joined for the pool. As far as I'm concerned, it's terrific. It's clean, the water is kept clean with salt and chlorine.. Showers and locker rooms are clean, too. There is also a wonderful whirlpool.
