Dr Sumiyoshi, was great with me. The first time in her office she gave me the diagnosis from what she could on the CT and let me know I would need surgery for an infection trapped in my sinus cavity if antibiotics didn’t take away. When they did not though she still said I should have surgery she was very kind with me when I was nervous and declined. Stay away!! I’m very disappointed in the level of care my kids received here. Dr. Sumiyoshi has a very cold personality and my kids always felt very uncomfortable when attending their appointments. My son was misdiagnosed as hard of hearing, and Dr. Sumiyoshi promised she would give me a call back about my son’s hearing test results and never did. She did a amazing job on my 7 month old neck surgery he was out of surgery in 25 minutes and the incision was so small and honestly I can’t thank her enough through such a scary time with his neck abcess with her caring personality and being so honest with us We got so lucky that she was able to be his surgeon
Dr. Sumiyoshi did such a great job with my two daughters surgeries. She really listened to my girls and didn't dismiss what they had to say, even though they are young. She put the girls at ease right before surgery so they didn't feel scared. She also gave us all the information we needed for at home care and what to expect.The doctor was kind enough to allow us to schedule them on the same day one right after the other so there was not too much waiting around. Dr. Sumiyoshi did such a great job with my two daughters. She put them and myself at ease with the information of surgery and the care after. Would highly recommend Dr. Sumiyoshi for removal of tonsils and adenoids.
