My daughter recently had a cyst removed by Dr. Peterson. Our contact with him was positive, but we only spoke to him at our initial consultation and the day of surgery. The office staff was another story. From the start we had issues with the wound vac. I called the office and never received a call back. Thankfully, I had been given the wound vac rep's number at the hospital, and he was able to help me. I didn't see this in the brochure nor in the fine print but OK The surgical department doesn't believe in calling and Even though you're insurance pays for bariatric services,They do not accept particular insurance companies. So I offered to pay out of pocket and received this email Can you confirm your height and weight? Typically the BMI limit for self-pay surgery is between 50-60, so I wanted to confirm that prior to moving forward. Once confirmed, we can probably get you in next Thursday. Thanks! Hannah P. Ruxton
