I usually have a good experience here and order one of two things off of the menu. Last night I ordered the Pork Carnitas and it was very fatty, almost inedible (usually when I order it, it’s not like this). When I brought it up to my server (who was super nice), she told the kitchen staff and the resolution was to, “order it with less fat next time”. That felt very dismissive. The carnitas can sometimes come out fatty because the recipe calls to leave the fat on prior to being cooked. The blackened fish tacos were great but the tempura shrimp was outstanding!!! Loved it
When in doubt ask what a server or cook would recommend. Never had a bad meal; today, I asked the head chef/cook what he’d suggest. Best. Meal. EVER. Can not recommend Miguel’s enough! ❤️❤️
