I switched to Midwifery and Women’s health care for my third pregnancy and could not have asked for a better experience. My prenatal care was thorough, Compassionate and evidence based. They were supportive in my desire to pursue a vbac all throughout. Rachele delivered me and it was a great experience. I highly recommend this practice for any woman looking for holistic healthcare. Every provider was amazing along the way! Thank you.

This place is amazing!! I went for lactation and was seeing Amanda and she knows her stuff! She goes off of your goals and does not push it! She’s so helpful and makes it a joyous experience instead of such a daunting task! She always had something else I could try!! She is truly the best!!!

I truly cannot speak more highly of the midwives at MWHC. From my new OB appointment through week 40, each provider we met with offered incredible care, empathy, and guidance as we navigated the arrival of our first baby. Though our little one’s birth included a transfer from the Anchorage Birth Center to Providence, we felt empowered and informed each step of the way as we had to pivot and pivot again. It’s been 2 ½ years since I saw a lactation consultant here after an extremely traumatic birth. She is the reason I was able to successfully and exclusively breastfeed my daughter for 18 months. She was the first medical professional I saw after leaving the hospital, and I broke down crying in her office. She sat with me and comforted me. Hands down the best in Anchorage! Each midwife is so caring and knowledgeable and prepped me well for birth. We switched from AWC at Providence because we wanted to go with someone we knew and trusted well (a personal friend who works at MWHC) and we wanted a wonderful personal experience. We are rather private and didn’t want the hospital experience.
