Midwest Sound was great to work with from start to finish! The booking process was smooth, managing all the details/songs on the portal was easy, it was simple to make changes up through the few days before the wedding. Our DJ did a good job of balancing requests with what we wanted played, and wrote us a super sweet thank you card that we got at the end of the night and we loved that!
Don’t be fooled by all the five star reviews! Went to my best friend’s wedding in June, and they were about 10 minutes from starting the ceremony and the DJ wasn’t even set up yet. Then, as my bestie bride was walking down the aisle, he played “can’t hold us” by Macklemore, which was not the chosen soundtrack - they had a meeting the week of the wedding, and he showed up with no playlist or queue for the ceremony. We hired Disco Joe with Midwest Sound for our wedding and cannot say enough great things about him! We had seen him at a friend's wedding a few years ago and immediately thought of him after getting engaged. We used Midwest for our wedding reception in August. We had attended a family wedding the September before that used them and it was such a fun night. They also had the best priced quote for us after talking with 3 different DJ companies. We had Jillian for our DJ and I was so excited to have all-female representation from all my vendors. She was AWESOME and we could tell she was enjoying the time there as well. And we received the sweetest thank you from her!
DJ Kiss, Marissa B was amazing for our wedding. She showed on time and set up easily. So easy to work with, and helped keep timeline on track. Played our dad rock music requested for cocktail hour. People were always on the dance floor once the dance started and kept dancing til the end! She even gave us a thank you card with our first kiss time on it 15/10 recommend
