Super easy to work with! Very thorough and thoughtful. DJ Amy was the best! She kept the songs coming and the dance floor poppin all of our wedding night.
I just want to start off and say I’m not one to write reviews on anything, however Midwest was such a great company to work with for our wedding! We just got married a week ago and we were so grateful to get Brandon as our DJ! He was incredibly thorough on our phone call week of and asked so many good questions to make sure we had everything the way we hoped for! We were very disappointed in our DJ. She shared her opinion about the pastor's message with him which was completely inappropriate. She played the wrong song for the dad & daughter dance. And she seemed to be brand new to her job, not really reading the room at all. Unfortunately, we will not be recommending Midwest Sound to people.
I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about James Jr. with Midwest Sound!! 🤍 And the story of how he ended up being our DJ makes it even better. I met James literally ONE WEEK before my own wedding while I was working another wedding as a photographer. While we were talking, he jokingly told me I should have hired him for my wedding. We had our wedding yesterday and unfortunately the dj experience was not great. Played some songs on our do not play list and a few random songs no one knew. They did not have the sound system working properly at the beginning of the night so guests had trouble hearing them announce our entrance and the first tables to get their food. Was a nice guy but overall disappointed with our venues main dj recommendation.
