We are new to Portage lake and had some issues when trying to get our boat launched and operational. Had the chance to work with Rick and Mark and they were both exceptional to work with. We had to make several unforeseen adjustments and they were very accommodating. Another happy customer here!
Just took my Buccaneer (18ft) in for a andersen bailer replacement/install. I decided to outsource it to ensure its done right and there are no leaks. Very happy with the service they provided. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone. The prices seem a bit high on a few items but if you go look online they are actually pretty dang good. Great little sailboat parts shop! I lost my Hobie 18 mast bearing driving from NY to Muskegon, and fortunately when I called they were still open and had the parts I needed! I pulled in and picked up the parts I needed, and was on my way! The staff was very helpful, and saved my weekend!
Midwest Sailing has great single and multi handed sailboats and all the parts you'd ever need to repair or upgrade boats from new to vintage. The owner, Tom Ehman is very knowledgeable and also owns the Portage Yacht Club across the street.
