I highly recommend Dr. Kamran Hamid! He is a foot and ankle specialist/orthopedic surgeon! He is honest, very professional, and sympathetic when addressing his patients' needs/concerns. I have struggled with left ankle weakness & instability for years. As a 30 year old woman, I was not ready to party ways with wearing high heels and having an active life style. I was referred to Dr. Nam for my hip replacement surgery,and believe it was the perfect move!
I had total left knee replacement that included removal of 5 screws and a metal plate. Dr. Nam and his staff are the best I have ever had. I have had 8 knee surgeries the first when I was 21 years old most of them done at Rush. Dr Scheinkop was my original Dr. but he has since retired. My husband recently had surgery for a herniated disc with Dr. Goldberg. Everyone from Dr. Goldberg to the nurses to the orderlies were knowledgeable, friendly, and empathetic. You can tell that Rush strives to hire only the best. I can’t thank the Rush staff enough for making a difficult time pleasant. I have seen 3 of Midwest Orthopedics at Rush, first Dr. George Holmes who fixed both of my feet over 6 years with fusions, plates, screws and staples. He really takes time to get to know his patients! He also treated my son for a foot fracture. My daughter has had Dr. John Fernandez for 2 carpal tunnel surgeries and she is so impressed she drives 3 hrs to see him. I had a consult with Craig Della Valle about surgery for my left knee. To my surprise he recommended a partial knee replacement. He answered all my questions he did not rush me. I would highly recommend him.
