I’ve been coming here for 9-10 years now, and I love them. I love Dr. Maikranz and Dr. Antoniak, they are so sweet and have always been there for me. All the staff is very sweet and they are a very welcoming group of people and environment. I’m living out of state now, and have still decided to stay with Midwest Behavioral Health via telehealth. I plan to stick with them as long as I can!

Susan Gripp was going to be my daughter's new therapist. However, I missed the initial appointment due to transportation issues and rescheduled for a day last week. We showed up at the appointment on time, but when I was trying to check in the receptionist said they had us marked down that I canceled the appointment. I DIDN'T . I was then told I would get a call this week to schedule for next week. I didn't get a call so I called their office today. I had my first appointment with Midwest Neurofeedback and couldn’t be more pleased. I am used to 5 minute appointments with my previous psychiatrist and feeling like I needed to sell myself and the needs I have. Kara Antoniak was a breath of fresh air for me. She seemed genuinely interested in my needs and she took the time to understand my history. Experience was great for many many years, Tim Riley and Kara Antoniak are both great people that are wonderful to work with. The problem is with the office staff. They never get messages relayed, sometimes you wait a week to get a response or an answer, most of the time you have to call THEM back. Set up an appointment in January, next opening was March 30th, that’s fine, sometimes you have to wait. But they waited until the DAY OF my appointment (1 hour prior) to tell me they don’t take my new insurance and it was over 6 mo... read more

I had a long professional relationship with this practice. I would and have recommended these practitioners to my family and friends. They truly care! I found that my practitioner was kind and Even went so far as to see that I had a DNA study to see which meds I would respond to best. This was very helpful to me understanding my care. My practitioner took a genuine interest in my well-being and I have since had to move out of state. I greatly miss her.
