I came in for an oil change as my husband, who is a mechanic, has been sick and unable to work since October. I had Excellent service the last time and was expecting the same and only paying the $15 as last time. I told them when I scheduled only oil change and again today but mentioned something about my antifreeze needing something done since now over 90,000 miles and a marker light later being out which was he said $15. RecommendedI have used Midwest Ford/Toyota for years and recently had an issue with my new Tundra. The service department charged me and wasn’t able to fix my issue. I went to Wichita to the Toyota dealer and they were able to fix my issue and they advised me to take their receipt to Midwest to have them refund me as they should have been able to do the same thing or call another service department to do so. Midwest Ford in Hutchinson has always given excellent service to me and my family. I have loved this Ford Dealer in Hutchinson for over 50 years, I think it was A D RAYL back then! To much to write it all out...Not answering/returning our calls, and a very rude salesman!!
Ford service never calls you back when your truck is done and ready to pick up, and this week after calling 2 days, never got a call about getting my truck fixed. Got right in across the street at CHEVY to fix my F150 without a problem. Service has went downhill at Midwest.
2 hours for an oil change that was scheduled a week in advance.. due to a filter or kept in stock? Ok you knew I was coming a week ago!
Today was the latest in a string of bad experiences with the service department. I will not be going back.
It is very easy to get an appointment. My husband and I prefer to have Midwest Ford Superstore in Hutchinson KS service our 2012 Ford Explorer. Employees are very friendly and Stewart the service manager worked with us to get our Ford serviced, tires rotated and a coolant flush all finished in a few hours. They provide a courtesy shuttle to the Mall or wherever you want to go. We chose to go see Skyscraper at B & B Theater. My husband appreciates the sales people being so helpful looking at cars.
