First, I came to my appointment and when I get there, they said it was canceled and had to be rescheduled. No prior notification just waited until I got there to let me know.. I am really upset that it took a month to get my new glasses after the initial exam. Then when I picked up my glasses, I was just handed the glasses over the counter and said just try them on and then I was just given my glasses and that was it. I have gone to Midwest eye consultants on laskey road here in Toledo ohio. This is the second time I've had a problem there being a post-op black lesbian woman. The doctor is a good doctor nice lady a lot of class a lot of style There's people on staff there that let you know they don't like you because of who you are. This is not a slam on the doctor and all the staff there in that office there's people there that need their heads examined. Remember prejudice hides in plain sight. Never again will I ever go here. Rude receptionist, I have a torn retina, they wanted to get me in the middle of July. Very very rude never again. Thank God I got in with the MD tomorrow morning at 8:00.AND SURE ENOUGH, A TORN RETNIA..AND THE RECEPTIONIST TREATED ME LIKE CRAP. I KNEW IT WAS AN EMERGENCY! RUN AWAY FROM HERE
I went to Midwest Eye Care off laskey on June 12th. I was little hesitant because I read the reviews after I booked. Why? Idk. But the reviews I seen wasn't so great so I said I would just cancel. I had a very pleasant experience, everyone was super nice. They have the biggest selection of frames for Medicaid I've ever seen and it only took 3 days to get my new pair.
