I like that Doug Smith guy, he was very cool and super helpful. Would come back again, every place of business needs a guy like Doug.
This office sold to Midwest Eye Consultants and went down hill fast. Dr. Gray Baals is the greatest eye Dr. I've ever been to. However the office has changed. I got new glasses and they didn't even fit them to my head they just gave them to me and asked me how they felt? I told them I could not see out of them and they said try them for a few days. Constantly inconsistent with scheduling. If questioned they become rude. The other review was right. They are not very good.
I got my new glasses in april and am getting my 2nd set of lenses since the orgional! They scratch while using their spray and cloth!! Last time in they tried to get me to do without the coating that I paid $100.00 for, so I asked to have my money back and they refused!!! Told them I wanted what I paid for! I'm waiting for the next lenses and these are scratching more and more every time I clean them to the point I can't see so now I'm wearing my old ones that have one ear piece and one pencil taped to the other side just to... read more
Doctor was great! The exam was great! but that's where it stops. It has been 24 days and still no RGP contacts or glasses. I've called more times than I can count and was finally told someone broke the lens on my glasses and they had to start over and the contacts are on back order. Stopped in the office today and was told the computers were "frozen" and they couldn't look anything up; however, once they place the order everything is "out of our hands". Love the staff and doctor at this office. Great selection of frames. I received my new glasses quickly. Thank you for taking good care of my eyes.
The doctors are great. But the office staff is incompetent. Computers were down the day I was there so contacts never ordered. Only ordered after I called 10 days later to see why they had not come in. Have had to make five phone calls. Still don't have them. Just told today on the phone that the system indicates they should come in today but that doesn't mean anything. They could come in tomorrow or the next day or the next day.
