For the 5-star review, their plan works, and I can now barely tell a difference in temperature going upstairs. I also don't feel a cold draft coming into my bedroom from a wall that shares an attic space with the garage with their insulation upgrade. Mission accomplished. Brandon did a good job demonstrating that blown-in insulation alone won't solve the issue we had with temperature control and high energy bills and got the project to a reasonable and fair price. The technician that came out seemed very knowledgeable and was thorough with the thermal scan. After hearing everything, I thought the long term savings on my energy bill and the reduced strain on my equipment was worth the investment. A few weeks later, a 2-man crew came out and did the insulation installation in no time at all. Looking forward to all the benefits and will update my review if they are not as good as promised.
Midwest Energy came to our neighborhood last week going door to door about the services they provide. I wasn’t home for the first visit, but the next day a salesman named Simon came back. Right off the bat Simon was personable, professional, very knowledgeable about the services provided, and was great around our young daughter who just kept wanting high fives.
