Great service and great food. Prices were very reasonable.
This is the only meat and three restaurant that gives table service. When we moved away from the Cumming area and moved to Gainesville we found that all the meat and three restaurants here are buffet style. I hate buffet style because I feel the food has just been sitting around all day in warming trays and is not fresh. But, at Midway Meal House everything is fresh, made to order, and the wait staff really cares about their customers.
Recommendedi hate eating fried chicken breast but this place made it possible. Very good chicken that is crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Perfectly seasoned too! The caramel pecan cake we had was simply heavenly it was sinful! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the good southern cooking. The place was great too, very cozy and relaxed with a feeling of home. The staff are very friendly and patient with very good recommendations as well.

Went this week for vegetables. They were not seasoned well. Tasted like they were straight out of the can. I was very disappointed with the meal.
