Im a bit sad that The Rooster has lost some of its eclectic bohemian feel that I loved about it as a coffee shop. I visited The Midnight Rooster Friday nite and was a bit disappointed that I paid 16.00 for a burger that was just ok. I miss the vive of what it was a few years ago.
When I come to Hartsville my visit is not complete without a visit here. The food is always spectacular. I recommend the Cajun Shrimp and Grits. Beautiful atmosphere and is walking distance from 2 of the hotels downtown. Located very close to Coker College. The staff is very friendly and I have never been disappointed! �������

We moved to Hartsville a year ago and the Rooster quickly became our most favorite place to eat for lunch. The staff is always very attentive, the atmosphere is wonderful and we have LOVED every item we have ordered. It is our go to place with friends and family visiting us from out of town. We will continue to support this locally owned and operated gem in downtown Hartsville.
