Dr. Gross performed a hip resurfacing and my hip feels great without any limitation. The doctors I saw in Kansas City all wanted to do a complete replacement and would not perform a resurface. Having Dr. Gross perform a resurface was the best decision I made.
Had left hip resurfaced over 5 years ago so easy pain was gone after surgery. Can do anything I want to now with no problems. Highly recommend Dr Gross and his great staff. Best part outpatient and no hospital stay. Have had no problems or pain problems since surgery. Thanks
At the forefront of his specialty. One of the world's best in resurfacing. Did my left hip. A teenager again at age 68.
Dr Gross is very knowledgeable and thorough. He treated and did total hip replacement on my right hip. Recovery time as he promised, has his own physical therapy exercises that patients need to stick to. It’s been six months from surgery and I feel great, walking fine, the best part...no pain. Wonderful staff that can communicate by phone, email or directly through the Patient Portal. 5 stars for Dr Gross and his team.
7 weeks post-op and my hip feels great. I am ready to schedule surgery on the other hip
I had been living in pain for two years. I am now 7 weeks post op right hip resurfaced, walking over 2 miles each day and pain free. I cannot thank Dr. Gross, Lee Webb, Nancy and the rest of the Midlands Orthopaedics team enough for restoring my quality of life! I was not willing to undergo a total hip replacement and did extensive research on hip resurfacing. I was referred to Dr. Gross by a work colleague. So fortunate to have learned about Midlands Orthopaedics!
Our daughter is an Occupational and Physical Therapist and she had heard of hip resurfacing. Originally thought I had back problems until discovering Dr. Gross and Midland's. Sent him x-rays and preliminaries and drove the 7-8 hours for out-patient surgery. Nancy Smith, Lee Webb and entire staff took excellent care of me. Drove to Columbia on Monday, had doctor's visit on Tuesday, surgery on Wednesday, recuperated on Thursday and drove back home on Friday.
