I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago. The food and drink and service was phenomenal! You can tell when food is made fresh and with quality ingredients. I had been salivating ever since just thinking about the pesto pasta so when our daughter was in town, we treated her to Midgley’s. My pasta didn’t come out as good as the first try, but we had ordered a sampling of other stuff (we must’ve looked ridiculous with all that food for only 3 people) and it was all so so good!! We had an amazing late lunch today at Midgley's. The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. I first met Michael at Bear Creek High ... I was a math teacher and he was a student. I have followed his career in the news and online. It was an honor to finally taste his cooking. We are now fans and will be back for more. WELL DONE. BTW, congrats on winning in Santa Cruz last weekend in their chowder contest. Mike, you rock !!!

I absolutely love going to midgles. Each time I've been it has been so relaxing and enjoying. Your left alone for the right amount of time. The food is wonderful. I love the clam chowder. My favorite by far. See you Thursday for lunch.�

My prime rib dip was ever so yummy... & my husband had the grilled Caesar salad & loved it... the only complaint I will share is... we were so cold eating lunch that my fingers became numb... it took away our leisurely lunch bc it was so cold inside the restaurant. As we left, I noticed & could feel the warmth of the patio heaters on for those dining outside.. had we known by our choice of dining inside that the AC would be on during a 64* day We would have ate outside where it was warmer.
