Renter beware!!! Middlebrook has great space & walk in closets, but thats it! Maintenace is HORRIBLE! Actually they are JOKE! I had a leak in my ceiling & they didnt come for nearly a wk. I had an outlet smoke, they did not come for nearly 3 days & the person they sent was an idiot. He tried to replace the faceplate & then with a serious face tell me that the outlet was fixed. I was LIVID. My AC unit doesnt work...I called once a week for the entire summer & nothing done. I had to put in my own unit to compensate for the bus... read more
Please dont rent here if you dont have to We rented from Middlebrook for about 6 years and moved from there 1 year ago. We had many complaints: silverfish infestation, mold growing on the laundry room walls, laundry room being left open at night and people hanging out and drinking there all night. Right before we moved gang graffiti started showing up on the walls in the laundry room. No pet policy but watch your step! almost everyone has a dog there and they do NOT curb them!
DON'T RENT HERE This place is horrible. There is mold growing under the paint, around every window as in between the tiles. One night it rained and the paint came right off the wall under the window. Mantaince does nothing. We rented this place for the price, I would much rather pay more for a place that is not falling a part.
I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog The rent is lower than other places around here and the renovated models look good. However, beneath the exterior, the plumbing is awful and I haven't been able to take an even temperatured shower. The hot water pressure is very low and frequently there is no hot water at all. The ceiling leaks when it rains and has created mold and rotting wood floors beneath the leak. The apartments are always too hot-summer and winter, the air conditioning units do not work. Better thn Twinbrook, but that doesn't say much. Do not let yourself be tempted by the price. These apartments have no soundproofing. You will hear everything from music to walking to fighting....you name it. There is very little storage and the apartments are falling apart when I moved in my toilet was hanging through the tile and the rotted wood under it. Great Complex! I love Middlebrook- the apartments are huge with tons of closet space and reasonably priced! Also, everyone that works in the office and maitenance is really helpful. The grounds are beautiful and even include a pool. I have no complaints about this complex- it is so close to everything and the area is great. I totally recommend living there!
Not Great After living here for almost 4 years its very apperant that the management/maintenance group here are incapable of maintaining this complex. The grounds are kept nice, the apartments have good size rooms but that's about it. You can hear everything going on in the other apartments. cheap apartments - you get what you pay for Middlebrook charges less for renting than most others in the area. The problem is that there are not enough maintenance people to fix problems. The buildings are old. Our apartment has had its floors buckle, paint peel from water inside the walls, etc... The local police cannot effectively patrol it. and so, in three years my car has been vandalized three time, and our apartment broken into twice. I would not advise for living here.
