TEN YEARS ago, a young Vascular Surgeon named Dr. Mark Borowicz, MD. placed a fistula in my left are for Dialysis. Shortly thereafter, he had to go in again to tie off leaking blood vessels, a normal and common occurrence. In those ten years since, I have gone in for only TWO fistulagrams and will be returning for my third this week.
