Extremely scummy Mechanics here. Beware of being scammed. I was in the process of buying a car and already had a verbal agreement in place. The seller had taken it here to get a quote on repairs for it to pass rwc. They EXTREMELY inflated the cost of repairs and nitpicked every detail to rack up the price and intimidate the seller, taking advantage of the fact he was an international student. Recently got my major service done here by Sal. Really nice guy! As a young female, going to a new mechanic alone is pretty daunting especially as I’ve been taken advantage of before!! I’ve gone to Midas twice now with two different vehicles in very different states of repair. On both occasions, I was fully informed of any issues in order of priority for my safety, and provided with options to tailor the solutions where possible. I was fully informed of issues (and why they matter) and costing before any work was done.
