My wife broke down near this shop and pulled in to have them work on it. They diagnosed it as needing an alternator. Total cost they quoted to my wife was over $1,600. I called the next day to get a breakdown but the work had already been done. Basically, they were charging $791 for the alternator, around $640 for the labor, $107 for the diagnosis, $43 for the oil change and tax.
