Went in today for upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. The nurses and cnas were fantastic. I express to them that I was very anxious about the upper endoscopy and would appreciate the sedation verset before beginning . My heart rate up but not too much and blood pressure was continually going. Up as they prepared me for the procedures I again asked if they would be starting the relaxation meds soon . Once they had all tabs and machines, etc., hooked up, they said they were starting that medicine. I can tell you it was not enough... read more
Had an egd this morning and all the nurses and the anesthesiologist was very nice and thorough. And the nurse, doctor and crna was very kind in the procedure room also.
I had an appointment in December 2024, and unfortunately, the doctor did not categorize my procedure as preventative care, even though it was my first one. The hospital stated that the referral indicated the procedure was due to bleeding, which is why it wasn’t covered as preventative care. Luckily, nothing was found, but I’m now facing a $1,400 bill, which would have been $2,600 without insurance. If you live on the fringe of society.....don't drive, housing insecure, homeless, out of work.....no transportation. Expect zero accommodations......that office is run by lawyers and risk management.
