I like the therapists, but the reception desk ignores my voicemails and calls. I shouldn't have to struggle so much just to get a receipt for the services I received.

mental health therapy/ counseling
My family is going through a financial hardship and we loss our healthcare. I informed the receptionist of this when making my appointment. I asked to be billed my visit and was told that it wouldn’t be a problem. I recently was diagnosed with ppd. When I arrived for my initial evaluation I was denied service because I could not pay the visit upfront. Which again I told them I wouldn’t be able to when making the appointment! They obviously don’t care about a persons health and well-being!
Horrible biggest scam no one talks to each other so sad and they wonder why mental health is the way it is today with people robbing these poor kids of their money!
If I could give this place a zero rating, I would. Unprofessional, rude, and hostile. "Dr." Miles Leon sets an alarm on his phone that blares out when your "time is up" (as he puts it). Completely insensitive and rude. As a client, I always left there feeling horrible and heartbroken and miserable. I also work in the mental health field and tell people to avoid all of Mid-Atlantic Behaviroal Health's locations and Miles Leon specifically, like the plague. I've been coming here for years and my children come here too....I love my therapist Miles Leon and my children's therapist Troy Lea! They have both been great and make us all feel comfortable, today I'm meeting my new psychiatrist Kristin David.... Looking forward to it!
