I went there and the man in front of me purchased a part for his furnace for $25, I needed the same part. When I got to the counter the man charged me $65 for the same part. When I asked why, he told me that walk-ins get charged more since they do not do as much business. I thought well maybe it was not that bad but then I looked the part up on the internet it was priced from $18 to $25. I walked away thinking that their normal policy is to over charge walk in customer 200 to 300 per cent over retail. I would only shop here ... read more

I went to Mid America today with a broke I maker. The staff helped me out tremendously. I was quoted a price of $107 over the phone for the complete replacement. After gettin there, the parts only costs about $40 and one staff guy replaced the parts with tools from his personal car. Many years have passed since I've seen people genuinely help out like this. Hats off to this wonderful staff. Continue to volunteer great service.
