About this business
Rent canoes and kayaks to paddle the Wading and Oswego Rivers in the Wharton State Forest Pinelands of New Jersey. Check in at the store to select your trip and we will take you by bus to the river. Paddle down the river; stop at one of the many beaches for picnicing and swimming, then continue to your destination. We will pick you up and return to the store. Private canoe and kayak transportation also available.

My third time going kayaking with Micks. The staff is great and I love the Wading River three hour section from Hawkins bridge to Evan's bridge. I cant wait to go again!!

This is is great outfitter. Even with crowds they get you out on your trip within 30 minutes. Always a great paddle, staff is very informative of water level, current speed, etc. We typically use two double kayaks (1 adult, 1 child per) and maneuvering is quite easy with occasional currents twisting the kayak at the hairpin turns. Rope “swings”, beach nooks, half moon beach are all pleasant stops along the way.
Attentive drop off and pickup. Clean and modern amenities...showers, bathrooms and changing rooms!!
