THIS WAS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! I WENT WITH SOME FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO CELEBRATE MY COUSINS HOME COMING FROM THE MILITARY AND AS I FED MY 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FROM MY SALAD I DISCOVER A LIVE ROACH SITTING ON MY PLATE. THE WAITRESS WAS NICE REMOVED THE PLATE AND CALLED THE OWNER TO THE TABLE. TO MY SURPRISE NOT ONLY WAS HE RUDE AND DEFENSIVE BUT INSINUATED I BROUGHT THE ROACH WITH ME. NOT VERY PLEASED – Very disappointed with the waiter that our party of 18 had tonight. He was very offensive from the beginning, which we tried to overlook. Until.....he decided to snatch the check book from my hand, it turned very unprofessional. My family and I were very shocked that as paying customers, we were treated with such horrible treatment after. Especially after our family member was drentched with hot food all over her back. Celebrated 10 year wedding anniversary – My husband and I have always celebrated special ocassions here but had not been in over 2 years. The food was just as great as before if not better - as well as great service! The complimentary champagne toast after dessert was also a nice touch. We will definitely return again and again! Horrid! – 4 dinners here were all bad. Salmon was flavorless and pale, flounder was full of bones, talapia was unpalatable and was sent back, mashed "potatoes" were runny and appeared to be made from a box (literally), "braised cabbage with bacon", was limp, soggy, tasteless mess with chopped ham. All portions are obscenely huge. This place confuses quantity with quality. Will never return.

Disappointed and embarrased! – We went to the South Charlotte location on a Sunday evening at 6pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. A NY Strip steak was ordered at my table cooked medium. The steak arrived medium rare and was not able to be cut. The second time it arrived it was the same problem. The manager delivered the steak and argued that their "Medium" cooked steak is more on the light pink vs. warm pink which the way it should be. Excellent – This is the BEST reataurant in Charlotte. The steak is awesome. Everything is priced reasonably and the service is excellent for the most part. Management is attentive and friendly. We consider going to Mickey and Mooch's anytime we want to impress anyone from out of town.......which is what we are doing this Saturday. Maybe the best of Charlotte – I've been there three times, and I will go back again. The crab cakes are awesome. The wine list is wallet friendly and palate pleasing. The service is genuine, warm and attentive. This is not a restaurant for rubes and their unbridled brats. It is up-scale without the pretentiousness. Romantic date or business date, you will not be disappointed. Excellent value, food, service and atmosphere.

GREAT customer service, great steaks, and outstanding crab cakes. – All around great restaurant. You walk in to a revolving door and the 3 section restaurant (fron dining facing Arboretum parking, middle section bar and back dining area facing lake are inviting. some nights there's a piano player and it's always busy. GREAT maganement who always make you feel special.
