a great place for fun and great beer selection – Food is delicious and the servers are hot. Please remember where you are at when you enter the brew pub. Sorry, but exceptionally wonderful service is NOT expected, as this is not a five-star restaurant nor anything even close. Unprofessional Service - Appalling! – My husband went to this tavern to watch a football game on Sunday. The service on hand mistook him for another individual and publicly admonished him for his lousy tipping, throwing change, insults and curse words his way. This verbal attack was unprovoked and inexcusable. The new ownership is still "investigating" my husband's outrageous experience and seemed reluctant to take any action at all. Used to be great! – I have been in the Woodstock Neighborhood for some time now and have frequented MF over the years many times. I must say i didn't pay much attention to the ownership of this once great pub, but i regretfully do now!!! I had been noticing a departure of great servers and inquired as to why. I love this place – I just wanted to say that this is one of my favorite places in Portland. It is comfortable and not pretentious. The service is one million times better now that the Sunnyside crew works there. The food is always good and has nice presentation ( a little bit spendy, though) and the drinks are fantastic. There is even a bartender, she is quite attractive too, who will make up a drink for you on the spot. She Rocks! If you are in Portland, check out the Finn. There is something for everyone!
Food can't make up for the rest – The food is pretty good, but they charge to much. But the 3 times I was their the service has horrible, the place was freezing inside and their is NO place to park.
