Herb Chambers Burlington Went today 5/17/08 to lease a CRV. Was given a price yesterday, brought my wife back today , did all the paperwork and then was told they could not honor the price as a "mistake" had been made. There was no negotiating or apologizing, my wife and I were yelled at "haven't you ever made a mistake before"? Very sleazy operation , would never buy a car there, STAY AWAY
Don't waste time.... Go to Silko first. After attempting to purchase a Honda on Aquidneck Island, it became clear I needed to expand my search area, They suffered from the "island mentality". I found myself a Silko Honda on a Friday morning, sat down with a professional sales person and had a great deal hammered out in 30 minutes. No hype, no pressure just respectful and courteous negotiations with a professional sales person.
Silko Motor Sales Inc is the place to go. I did shop around to see what other Honda dealers had to offer. From my personal experience, it does not get any better than Silko. Their customer service excellent, the sales staff is friendly (no pressure at all) and willing to work with their customers to give you the best deal possible, and the communication with their customers is top notch. no pressure here If you want a new honda Silko is the place to go, they can give you very flexible finance plans and lots of brand new and used vehicles with a great warranty...There is no sales people pressuring you or standing over your head, i felt very comfortable there looking around, when i did have questions, they were there to answer.Very professional
good service This huge auto center has lots of new foreign cars, but not a lot of used. I also go here for my repairs because you know it will be a good job, but it is a little pricey.
great cars My husband and I bought a car here a few months ago. We like the car but the salesman was very pushy. We went back and forth on prices for 2-3hours. They couldn't take no for an answer. The worst part was they said we could afford the car no problem because of my husbands job. I thought it was rude. All in all the cars are great, not a lot of used cars to choose from though.
WORST. SERVICE. EVER. Do not do business with these Dbags. Of all the horrible customer service I have experienced during my time in RI, these folks are the worst. I went in to inquire about maintenance and there was a big sign in their maintenance department that said to do oil changes every 5,000 miles. Of course my owners manual says to follow the maintenance minder in my vehicle. So, out of curiousity I ask why they recommend something other than what the manual says. Terrible Sales Department Treatment Had an appointment with a salesperson. Got their a few minutes before, and he told me he'd be with me in just a couple of minutes, as he was just finishing up with a new customer who had just come in before me. I waited for over an hour, and when I finally had to leave, I went to tell the manager. He said that the salesman was just doing his job, and then the manager tried to sell me a different car than I even came in for! Test Drive I would recommend Honda Carland North to anyone who might be interested in a Honda. I stopped in yesterday and met with Lance Herst, we test drove a used car. He was very pleasant and did not use any high pressure sales tactics. He and I are still working on the details, but I would recommend them for your car shopping needs.
