My son had been making bad and dangerous decisions and getting locked up for years. Finally while he was locked up waiting for his sentence to start he had enough. Thank god one of the sergeants was willing to go out of his way for my son. He made a few mistakes while he attended but they never gave up and neither did he. He graduated in June 2016 with his GED and college credits. He now is attending trade school for HVAC and plans on continuing his education when he is done. My great nephew Albert Palmer joined this. I'm so proud of him.
My daughter started this program January 15th 2017, I cannot wait to see her in two weeks, then go to her graduation in a short 6 months.. I am positive that she will be a completely different person after she experiences this program and I am ready to embrace the new daughter I will inherit!! I already am commited to this program, not just for my daughter but for all our childrens future. I am going to be active participant in MYCA in the future
We are blessed to have such a service! The staff is very skilled at what they do. They have a desire to make every child a success story. Their focus is on bringing them up and not tearing them down. We are so grateful to them and our state government and federal government for seeing this as a value to its people.
