I liked Dr. Balaramon, but I would not visit her at this exact location ever again. Even trying to schedule my appointment over the phone took way too long as I was on hold for at minimum 20 minutes. Then when someone did answer the phone, she had an attitude and was trying to rush to get me off the phone. When I arrived to my appointment (20 minutes early) to fill out paperwork, the front desk staff wasn’t friendly which okay, whatever. I then got called to the back. Poorly run office. Every time we come we wait 1+ hours beyond our appointment time which is very frustrating for people assisting their sick family members. You can tell they’re overbooking their schedules and doctors are rushing out of rooms. It’s unfortunate to see especially with a cancer clinic.
Dr. Margolis ghosted my mom after 13 years. On her deathbed, we begged to see him for two weeks because we were confused and lost.They behaved as if he was too good and too busy to care. My mother was being treated horribly by the palliative care team (hospice was full), and his team did not prepare us or provide any resources despite knowing her terminal status. Dr Balaraman saved my life!!! I choose her as my Oncologist after my very close friend who also had breast cancer was under the care of Dr. Balaraman. Now pack your patience when you have an appointment because Dr Balaraman does fall behind on schedule. the reason for this is because she give each patient all the time that they need when seeing her.
