I came to MHNI 30 years ago with migraines. No local doctor could help, so one referred me to MHNI. I spent one day at the clinic with Dr. Saper and his staff. This entire experience has been amazing. All my procedures all went extremely well, and Dr Shamas was so good. He was so personable and explained all the procedures to me. He asked personable questions as well, making me feel more comfortable with him. Dr. Saper and Dr Weintraub were two of the best physicians I have ever worked with. It has given me so much hope and the inpatient program worked out my most important issues and I am comfortable going home and continuing as an out patient. The stafff was wonderful during my stay. They treated me like family and are so caring. The treatments have been successful so far as well. I cannot wait to continue this journey and hopefully be completely cured one day soon! I would highly recommend them if you are struggling with head pain.

Dr. Saper and his clinical team truly have helped me get my life back in all aspects. This is the first time I have had control of my headaches since they started daily 6 years ago. He was very informative on plans of care and treatments. Daily rounds with him and his team were very effective for communication and I felt that my questions were addressed fully. It did not take much time to get an appointment. Once I made it to MHNI, the experience was great, very thorough, and I was transitioned into inpatient treatment within 24 hours. During my inpatient stay, I felt the doctors and staff kept updated on my daily status and were proactive in getting procedures scheduled and creative in their use of medication, implementing some meds that have a dual purpose (i.e., treat insomnia and headache). I am very grateful for the expertise and understanding of the staff.

Perceptive, listener, synthesizes information and offers extremely productive feedback. Provided me with a greater understanding of my pain and, best of all, a remedy for the pain. Freedom from daily Head pain will broaden my horizons and allow greater normalcy to my days and nights. .
