Dr. Degroat is a great surgeon and always puts me at ease during office visits.
If you have a hernia, or even suspect that you do, go see Dr DeGroat! After suffering from abdominal/pelvic pain for almost 8 months and having 3 surgeons tell me the CT scan report didn’t show anything and it was likely from adhesions from a previous surgery (and that they wouldn’t do surgery for adhesions and couldn’t help me), Dr DeGroat actually looked at the CT scan *herself* because she said radiologists often miss them if the muscle falls back into place when you lie in your back, and she confirmed that I did, indeed,... read more
