Service was excellent. Seafood chowder, salad, steak, smashed potatoes, and the mahi was fabulous. The risotto was bland and the shrimp and scallops, ehhhh....the shrimp were deveined but not fresh. Scallops were nice sized but, again, I don't think they were fresh. Not a big risotto fan anyway. I'd definitely go back, though. Loved the atmosphere and staff was spot on. And the prices were reasonable. <3
Have to say this place lived up to all the hype!! Quite possibly the best chowder I've ever had and the dinners were fantastic as well as the key lime pie, this establishment will be getting a lot more of my money
The food was delicious especially the chowder ! The portions are very large and it is well worth the money . I will be back and recommend that everyone who vacations or is in the Carolina Beach area to try this restautant .
We first had our first great experience at Michael's Seafood Restaurant about 4 yrs ago on our 32nd ANNIVERSARY and now we try to go every ANNIVERSARY when we visit Carolina Beach. Always friendly and the food is always grade A. Thank you for staying true.
Clean.... fresh food, excellent seasoning, good portions, family friendly.
Didn't enjoy it. Had the crab cake, I was just ok. They don't serve French fries so they give you stale potato chips on the side. Tarter sauce was pink, not sure why. Was afraid to try it.
Great, fast service. Priced accordingly. Food was awesome as always. Bring back the alligator sausages please!
First...I never give 5 stars. Good staff, good parking, nice ambiance. Great food, but very small portions served. Was there on 7/4/17. Actually a 3.5
I have been to Michael's many times and always had great service. However, on the evening of July 1st, I took my family (1st timers), to experience Michael's and our server was AMAZING!! Erinn is the epitome of customer service. The restaurant was hopping, as usual, and she was calm, cool and collected. I observed her with other customers and she was the same with them. Making us feel like we were the only ones there amidst the busyness. Erinn rocked it!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
