Do your own research. I went to the bike store to buy my first bike as a grown-up. They were very nice and the owner even helped me a couple of times. I think it is just the owner and his kids that run the place. So I decide on a bike and give a spin around the parking lot, the kid tells me it looks great, I say it feels too big, he says I will get used to it, I (stupidly) believe him.
