I agree with Jeff Bred's review. We had a similar experience with Michael's Plumbing. They quoted us a price and then tripled it in the invoice. I call this bait and switch. They not only lied about the amount of labor hours, but charged for using their equipment and their truck. Stay away from them or risk being ripped off.
These people are EXTREME ripoffs. I asked them to come out and install a water heater, change out the washing machine faucets, change out an outdoor faucet and "tidy" up some minor plumbing in the basement. They sent out 4 guys to do the work of one or two!! Then they charged me outrageous prices for EVERY single piece of material that they used! From every coupling and screw to flux, solder and caulk.
