Very positive experience with Dr. Zhang. At first meeting he proposed me conservative treatment of my herniated l5s1 disk which pinched my nerve and epidural steroid injection. As it did not help I came back in 4 months asking about surgery. He was very meticulous looking in MRI imaging and sent me additionally on CT scan. Answered all my questions and after the surgery I woke up without the pain I experienced almost daily during last 5 years and even did not take pain killers. Dr. Zhang is an amazing doctor! Every patient of his is very lucky. He is professional, informed, and compassionate. When I received a diagnosis from another doctor that I did not understand, Dr. Zhang stepped in and explained everything clearly, calmly, and kindly. He knows how to break down complex concepts in a simple and accessible fashion. Dr. Zhang was well prepared for my initial visit. Having thoroughly reviewed my MRI, he presented me with options going forward in a professional and courteous manner. He is a very nice man, and I feel very comfortable being his patient.
If this doc can't use you to make money you wont be seen! Been refured here twice and denied both times, " I am not a canidate for surgery due to my size". So does that mean I need surgery to fix me? Hell if I know because I cant even get a consultation, wich has caused me to get denied disability with no doctor input on my MRIs. But hey I guess its normal to sneeze or cough and have your legs give out. Worst part is they don't even have the decency to call and tell you, you just wait for months and not hear anything.
