Saved my sister’s life with a bone barrow transplant. Smart, knowledgeable, on top of his field.
He literally saved my daughter’s life. She had a BMT that did not take. Dr Schuster was running a clinical trial for Gleevac. After 28 days my daughter was in remission until her passing 28 years later from natural causes but no cancer !!! Always be grateful for him
In 2010, we rushed our son to Dr Shuster, at the orders from another hospital. He had Burkitts Lymphona which was one of the worst lymphoma to have. After eight months of treatment - his cancer was gone. It was a tough journey for Robert but the staff - from the nurses to the doctors - and the janitorial staff - all were helpful and kind. Robert spent many hours at the children's floor .
