He volunteered to see me when the front desk lost my appointment. His MA, Christina also was so helpful! Dr. Vonrueden was professional and understanding of my situation. He explained things clearly and made me feel much better. Highly recommend him and his MA.

Dr vonrueden is a very smart and compassionate doctor. He listens to every thing that I say and then clearly explains what he thinks is going on and then clearly explains his treatment plan for it.
Dr. Vonrueden is the best DR. I have ever had. He is very personable and always makes me feel better after I have seen him. I left at one point for Freodart just because the hospital was closer and I returned after one visit there. He explains everything he does and why.
I called to set up a physical since I have not seen him five years. I am being told if I didn't see him in the last year I cant made an appointment. So I have seen him for the last twenty years but too bad.
Dr. VonRueden really listens to his patients. He gives great medical advice and is extremely knowledgeable. I met him during his residency when I was working as an RN and was so impressed with him that when he started practicing, I immediately sent my family to him. When my own doctor stopped practicing, I joined my family in having him as my primary care physician. I've never regretted my choice.
D Dr. Michael Von Rueden is the BEST Primary Physician I have ever had the pleasure to meet! I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago and even the Columbia-St.Mary's specialists referred me to Froedtert, I was told by my Froedtert Oncologists that I should choose a primary care Physician from Froedtert.. I told them absolutely NO WAY! My husband and I both see Dr. Michael and we adore him! You won't find a more caring, funny, knowledgeable Family Doctor anywhere! His nurse Elsa is a doll!
When my insurance switched - Dr. Vonrueden was no longer covered so I went on a search for a new doctor. None compared to Dr. Vonrueden. Recently I once again had insurance change and he's back in my network. I'm so very happy. He is the best I ever had. He listens and genuinely cares about my health and well being. He also is very knowledgeable and I like his approach to medicine alot more than some of the other doctors I had to use.
