He saved my life.
I broke many ribs and my left clavicle as a result of a fall from a mountain bike. The ribs were quickly repaired by the wonderful trauma team at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Mn. The left clavicle was not repaired based on a prognosis that it would be prudent not to risk surgical complications. Dr. Torchia offered a second opinion that the benefits outweighed the risks. I broke my ankle pretty severely at work. Dr. Torchia really pushed to get me into surgery before further complications could hinder my recovery or have lasting effects. It's been a little over 8 months since it happened and my ankle is almost fully healed with over 90% original mobility. I owe my quick recovery to Dr.Torchia and his staff. Because of their quick action, I had less down time to recover and get back on my feet. Very professional and skilled staff.
