2 weeks ago I got my second hip replacement, by the third day I was walking without any problems or assistance. I feel great and happy I’m able to do the simplest things now. I thank Dr Lago with all my heart for helping me to get back on my feet. He is an awesome orthopedic surgeon. Last but not least I thank God, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel Yes there may be a little wait to be seen by the doctor but that just shows how amazing Dr Lago and the rest are!! I recommend Dr Lago 100%
Very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Lago he had done 3 hip surgeries to my mom and no good results. OFFICE STAFF is horrible and wait time is ridiculous, They don't take into consideration that patients are old and they have them waiting more than 2-2.5 hours for 10-15 minutes discussion with the doctor. Today my mom had an follow up appointment (from last surgery) which was previously cancelled by the doctor's office, and they just called me saying I need a referral from main doctor. I am very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Lago. His glib attitude towards my problem showed me that he cares more about his ego than the care of the patient. After a fall 18 months ago (continual pain and discomfort since that time even after physical therapy) - he stated my hips are fine other than a little arthritis. He stated my problem is that I am fat and that is causing all my problem. He could be bothered with doing any physical exam and chose not to listen to my concerns. Appt was at 1:00 pm, wasn't seen till after 3:00pm, receptionist said all appts were set for the same time, the large waiting room was full. Pack a lunch. When I finally saw Dr. LAGO, he said my x-rays showed nothing. I told him to look at the MRI bc I had something torn as per MRI, he said he didn't have to, for me just to keep talking and tell him what was wrong, I started by saying "when I retired I got more active," he interrupted me and said "GET TO THE POINT" Very rude and snarky, also forgot to give me therapy referra... read more
