Pleasant was pleased with Dr. Staebler and office workers.
I fell down stairs carrying my 60lb dog, hurting my knee. Three days after I went to the ER when I passed out from the pain of using my knee. Dr. Staebler told me I was in pain from not using my knee enough. He immediately dismissed me when I went to see him for each appointment. He would say he didn’t think my MRI was accurate and that I just bruised my femur, causing the pain I was having. Terrible experience with Dr. Staebler. His staff is sloppy and unorganized. Initially I was told by him that I wasn’t going to need anesthesia and it was just a mild sedative and they would just be doing a reduction to my toe and then putting pins in it. I was then informed by the secretary that it was anesthesia. Also they do not call back in 24 hours. Dr. Stabler never explained to me that I would have to go to two Different hospitals just to get my surgery. I would have to go to Rhode Island Hospital the day prior for Cov... read more
Dr. Staebler is an incredible MD! He has helped me many times over the last 7-8 years... He is always compassionate and always takes his time to explain everything about the issues.... His entire staff is pleasant and caring as well... I wish all physicians were as knowledgeable and compassionate as Dr. Staebler!
Very old school doctor who isn't aware of modern treatments. Nice guy but all he thinks works is replacing a knee. Not knowledgable in my opinion. Didn't seem like he ever took a real interest in my condition and had any solutions besides an eventual knee replacement.
He thought he knew my level of pain better than I did, he told me it did not hurt enough. I thought that was why I was visiting the doctor's office because I am in pain, oh well. Also waited for an hour in the room for a x-ray.
